Course was straight forward and easy to understand. The tests were fair and good representations of important points or elements of the material. Progress was automatically saved as the course was completed. I would definitely recommend this course!

The material covers a broad assortment of topics related to operating a motor vehicle. For the most part, everything written is clear and to the point; however, I do take issue with a few things. The site is quite old and theres a lot of whitespace on each page, which doesnt bode well for keeping users attentive. Read full review could have done it in about two hours had I not been forced to wait so long to go to the next page each time, instead of the ~4.5 hours it took. Also, I counted 43 typos while taking the course (b/c what else is there to do when youre waiting for the timer to reach 0:00?), two of which were confusing, even in context. NiSE could have a greater impact on driver safety if they took the time to revamp the appearance of the site, reallocate time per page, fix typos, and do other things to show more care for their audience. One page about car seats contained a ~50-second video but required me to keep the page open for a whopping 14 minutes before I could proceed! There should be pictures on every page, not just text. The countdown timer should adjust for each page, proportionate to the amount of text/imagery on the page. There should be a PROGRESS BAR somewhere within the lessons so that you can see your progress without having to exit the lesson. Either a progress bar for how far along the user is in the unit or of the entire course, though the first option is probably preferable. Grammar things/simple spelling mistakes. And lastly, some thoughts are not fully fleshed out: consequences could be severe (ARS 28-725). What consequences? Let us know what could go wrong. I really hope they read this and take this under consideration. TLDR: Takes a long time and isnt the most engaging of tools, but its better than the alternatives. Make sure to review the unit tests before taking the final, and it will be smooth sailing!

I had a great experience with the National Institute for Safety Education (NiSE) for their online TLSAE course. The modules provided were extensively detailed, and I appreciated being able to study them at my own pace everyday. While I initially struggled with pacing and my own schedule issues, I learned that it takes timing and patience throughout the whole process. It was all worth it when I passed the final exam online. Also, I would like to give a special thanks to the helpful lady who assisted me over the phone about a login issue. Though I cant recall her name, Im still grateful for her assistance. With that said, I am grateful for NiSEs excellent service!

I attended online. Suffice it to say the materials provided by NiSE were not nice. They were full of typos, grammatical errors, and most troubling, misstatements of the law. It was as if they were prepared by AI or someone not fully fluent in English. Whoever or whatever did prepare them was not well versed in Arizonas Title 28 traffic violations. With the resources this company presumably has, one would think NiCE could have correct these issues a long time ago. Very sloppy.

Id like to give 5 stars across all categories, but improvement is needed. The website worked smoothly. Five stars for the website. The staff promptly processed my application. Five stars to the staff. The punctuation and grammar in the text are in need of proofreading and correction in many places. It was distracting. Two stars for punctuation and grammar. Some of the questions were worded in confusing ways. Three stars. Some of the descriptions of laws and navigation were confusing, and Ive been driving many years. Three stars. The statistics quoted are out of date - 2015 and 2016 - and therefore are not as relevant as they would be if they were updated. Three stars.

I am mercifully offering 2 stars because I was finally able to successfully get to the online school. Not very intuitive. The horrible aspect of this (supposedly professional) course is that it is fraught with a mass of grammatical and pronunciation mistakes. The typos, structure and mistakes are incredibly distracting, erroneous and confusing! This is supposed to be a legitimate learning and training course. Very misleading and detrimental for a class participant. Wow! One or two typos and/or misprints...OK...
Read full review. But hundreds and hundreds?!? Cmon! SO debilitating and a terrible reflection on NISE. Did you simply turn over content to AI and not think to proof? What was Maricopa Co. thinking when they contracted with this supposedly elite traffic training institution. FMG

I consider getting a ticket for going through a red light a blessing. Instead of trying to run beat a yellow light I am going to stop now every time. I learned so much from the National Institute of Safety course. I really, really draws your attention of how dangerous it is when we drive our cars. A BIG fat ugly life changing accident can occur every time you drive down the road. It is SO important to pay attention and not be distracted- like texting and everything else we do all the time...
Read full review. One distraction you were warned about repeatedly from your wife or someone can cause a death or major injury. This course really educates one to how things happen and how many people die every year from all those distractions. I am a better driver now because of getting that ticket. It cost me some money but hopefully saved me from a life time of regrets. Thank you AZ and thank you NiSE.
