Amigo Driving School - Escuela De Manejo Belmont Cragin, Chicago

I did my adult driving classes with the owner of the business and she is extremely nice, knowledgeable and friendly. She made my driving lessons very easy and she is very confident in her teaching and doesn t make you nervous. She is also very, very, very friendly makes you feel like you are learning from a friend! 10/10 do recommend.

The instructor I had, Yesenia, was very kind and great at teaching what I needed to know in order to drive better. I was able to pass my road test on the first try after taking lessons from her. I HIGHLY recommend this driving school to anyone who is looking to not only get their drivers license but also get better at driving in general. Yessenia had great communication and was very respectful . Every time I made a mistake she always told me what I did wrong and what I needed to do. I was able to get my license after taking a few lessons with her and she is by far the best driving instructor I ever had. 10/10

Theres no such thing as a bad student, only a bad teacher. I was so lucky to find the right one and cant be more thankful to him. When Victor told me that he could teach me driving a car in one week, it seemed completely impossible. I must say that he was a man of his word. After putting almost 9 months out without any rush to get my license, I felt like I had to before my permit would expire. Its really common sense and tho at times we may forget and freeze up, hes always there to guide you and teach you the right way w/ tips! Repetition is key! He is very individualized in his teaching, wherein after teaching the basics, he will ask what you think you want to brush up on. And no one wants a serious driving instructor and Victor is the opposite, he makes it fun and gets to know you making driving less tense! He is flexible if time allows if he doesnt have a class before or after. Also, if he knows youre ready, he will let you know so that you dont take any more additional classes which happened with me as I passed my road test w/ 3 driving sessions! Today as I passed my road test! Before we took it, we practiced a few times around the SoS and he continued to coach me til I felt relaxed and ready. Thank you Victor for everything! Passed my drivers test on the first try! Amazing teaching techniques. I had Kate as my instructor and Id highly recommend her for any new drivers. Her teaching technique was amazing. She observes how you drive, then tells you what you need to work on as well as how to fix the errors you make while you are driving. I also had the chance to learn how to drive on the expressway which was great. Kate personality makes for a great ride where you can relax and learn at ease. She took me to my drivers test today, she helped me to the point that she was able to help me remain calm and stress-free while waiting to take the test. Hopefully, the new drivers will be able to have a chance to learn with her. Thank You Amigo!

Based on my experience, I would say that Amigo is one of the best driving school in Chicago. Although I literally had no experience in driving, Oscar helped me in getting the license within 1 week. After analyzing your driving, He will always make sure that you end up correcting the mistakes which you make in the process. He really understands where you stand and will patiently teach you on mastering the skills with his easy techniques. If someone really follows on his advice, then I am sure that they will end up with a license in their hands within 7 days even if you have not touched the steering wheel before. If you are now deciding on your driving school, Dont hesitate and go for AMIGO!!

I came into Amigo Driving School after failing the Driving test twice in Florida. My behind the wheel driving instructor was Kate. She is a patient and well informed driving instructor. I was able to pass the test after doing the intermediate adult package. She made sure that I was confident and we also had some fun conversations throughout the duration of my lessons. I highly recommend Amigo Driving School for any drivers beginner or intermediate. Victor was helpful over the phone, friendly and attentive. Thank you guys!

This school is amazing. My instructor name was Victor I came there barely being able to drive and Victor was able to teach me all that I needed to know within 6 days. I honestly thought I never would drive but Victor was very confident in me and very encouraging he always had a metaphor or a story that would give me the confidence that I needed to believe I could do it. Read full review can do this. Which I appreciate very much because I feel like when you pay your money for a service you should get the best service and Victor definitely gave me that. He was even willing to take me to the bank on the days I had to pay him so I didnt get charged an extra fee using my card and on the day of my driving test I brought the wrong papers he was willing to take me back home to get the papers, to the DMV to take the test, to the bank and drop me back at home after it was finished and I live all the way on the south side of Chicago. So not only is he encouraging he is accommodating which I really appreciate. I got more than what I paid for which I love and all for a reasonable price. So I highly recommend this driving school they wont fail you or waste your time and money and definitely highly recommend Victor he is an amazing teacher.

THE BEST DRIVING SCHOOL IN ILLINOIS! Kate is an amazing instructor, helped me fight all my fears, she treats her students with respect, she is very patient, calm and professional. Amigo has a lot of good deals. I came to the driving school instead of being picked up and saved a lot of money. The car was brand new Honda, (which is a nice surprise, considering most of the other driving schools using old ones). It was really easy to drive, it was nice and clean inside. I got my license in less than a week! Literally one of the best decisions in my life, YOU wont regret it.

Highly recommend. My instructor was Victor. Extremely professional and patient. Day 1- He let me drive first for a while, observed and then pointed out where I went wrong exactly and helped me work on it in the driving class, also covering the basic need to knows. I was far less nervous and more confident after the first class. Day 2- On the day of the road test, I drove in the actual road test route at least 4 or 5 times and Victor made sure I had enough practice rounds before the test. He prepares you well for both the road test and driving after that. Amigo driving school costs less compared to others and u r not being compromised in any way. Value for money.
